Don't Keep Silent If You Suspect Elder Abuse

You rely on a caregiver to look after the people that you care about the most.(EldEr LaW) When someone becomes unable to take care of themselves, it is usually best to get a professional involved. While it may be our first response to want to take care of our parents ourselves after the years they spent taking care of us, it can be overwhelming. Unfortunately, abuse of the elderly is something that is a growing problem.

As people become older, they become less and less able to take care of themselves. They may not stand up for themselves if they feel they are being wronged.
